Privacy & Cookie Notice
Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. Who we are
This website (the "Site") is the company page of MEPAS, which introduces its first product, Delta. MEPAS is a business operated by Logan McCourt, founder ("MEPAS", "we", "us" or "our"). We are responsible for the personal data described in this Notice. Our main audience is in the United Arab Emirates, and we aim to follow the principles of UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, including lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation and security.
2. Our minimal-data approach
The Site is a passive, informational page. It does not:
- offer user accounts, registration or login;
- contain contact forms, sign-up forms or any other automated data-collection forms;
- store visitor information in a database;
- use analytics tools, advertising pixels, tracking scripts or behavioural profiling technologies;
- set marketing, advertising or analytics cookies.
3. Cookies
The Site does not use tracking, analytics or marketing cookies. Our hosting provider may, in limited circumstances, set a strictly necessary security cookie, for example to verify that a visitor is not an automated attack. Such a cookie serves only security purposes, contains no information used to identify or profile you, and is not used for advertising or analytics. Because no non-essential cookies are used, the Site does not display a cookie consent banner. You can view or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.
4. Information we collect
4.1 Voluntary email enquiries
The Site displays an email address. If you choose to email us, we collect:
- your email address;
- your name, if it is included in your email or email account;
- the contents of your message and any attachments you choose to send.
We use this information only to read, respond to and follow up on your enquiry. Sending an email is entirely voluntary. Please do not include sensitive personal data (such as health, financial or government identification information) in your message.
4.2 Technical server logs (hosting infrastructure)
The Site is hosted by Vercel Inc. ("Vercel"). When you visit the Site, Vercel's infrastructure automatically processes standard technical log data, which may include:
- your IP address;
- your browser type and user agent;
- the date and time of your request;
- the page or resource requested and the server's response.
This data is processed only for legitimate security and operational purposes: protecting the Site against malicious traffic and denial-of-service attacks, monitoring uptime and performance, and diagnosing technical faults. It is retained temporarily under Vercel's standard log-retention periods. It is not used to identify, track or profile individual visitors, and we do not combine it with any other information.
5. Legal basis for processing
- Email enquiries: processed because you chose to contact us, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to you.
- Technical server logs: processed because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure, available and functional.
6. How we share information
We never sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we never share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Your data is processed only by the service providers needed to operate the Site and our email:
- Vercel Inc.: website hosting and infrastructure;
- Our email service provider: the provider that hosts the mailbox for the address shown on the Site, through which enquiries are received and stored.
These providers process data under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, court order or a valid governmental request, or where necessary to protect our legal rights or the security of the Site.
7. International data transfers
Our service providers operate global infrastructure, including in the United States. By emailing us or visiting the Site, your data may be processed outside the United Arab Emirates and outside your country of residence. We rely on service providers that maintain recognised technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data during such transfers.
8. Data retention
- Email correspondence: kept only as long as needed to respond to and resolve your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. We delete it sooner if you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Technical server logs: retained temporarily by Vercel under its standard retention periods, then deleted automatically.
9. Data security
We use reputable providers that apply industry-standard security measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
In line with UAE data protection principles and other applicable laws, you may ask to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate personal data;
- delete your personal data;
- restrict or object to its processing;
- receive a copy of your personal data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address shown on the Site. We will respond within a reasonable period and in any case within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
11. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has emailed us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this Notice
We may update this Notice to reflect changes to the Site, our practices or applicable law. If we introduce new data collection, such as forms, accounts or analytics, we will update this Notice before doing so. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision.
13. Contact
For any privacy question or request, email MEPAS at the address shown on the Site.
